AFULIC - Amigos de la Fundación Leloir y otras instituciones para la Investigación contra el Cáncer
AFULIC is an NGO that raises funds to provide financial support to the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Therapy at the Leloir Institute. Comprising scientists of renowned international standing and led by Dr. Osvaldo Podhajcer, the laboratory conducts prestigious research into innovative, less invasive, and more effective therapies for treating various types of cancer.
MISSION: Collaborate with the scientific research on cancer to support life for the benefit of society.
PROGRAMS:
"Support for the Argentine scientists":
Objective: Through this program seek to raise money to be sent to the laboratory of Molecular and Cellular therapy of the LELOIR Institute, with the objective that our scientists can continue to work in the research of therapeutic vaccines for treat different types of cancer.
Description: Campaigns partners, organization of events, recycling of plastic caps, informative presentations on scientific advances and new projects through so-called talks "talk about Cancer".
Target population: scientists at the laboratory of Molecular therapy and cell of the Institute Leloir.
