Haciendo Camino has received a house that will serve as a safe space for women experiencing violence, as well as a place to stay for mothers who must travel from rural areas—often with their children—to access medical treatments, diagnostic tests, or follow-up care that is unfortunately unavailable where they live. Currently, however, the house is not in a condition to be inhabited. We urgently need to carry out repairs: fixing leaks and dampness, restoring plumbing and electrical systems, refurbishing bathrooms and floors, painting, and furnishing the space. We have the house and fully grasp the impact it could have on the women and families we support; now, we need to make it habitable. With your contribution, we will be able to provide accommodation as soon as possible. Every donation brings us one step closer to transforming what is currently an empty house into a space of protection, support, and care.
