As it happens to most of the health institutions, in Fleni we have to make a fast and massive adaptation of all our operation to face this truly unprecedented situation. We are buying all kinds of supplies, equipment to diagnose the COVID-19 and multiple indispensable elements of personal protection, both for patients and for our doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff. In addition, we are rapidly adapting operating theatres and intensive care rooms. The challenge is enormous.
All this implies a sensitive increase in costs and inputs that severely impacts the sustainability of our operation.
The fight against the COVID-19 touches us all. We need to turn to the community to be able to face this pandemic with our best resources and continue with the attention of all the diseases related to neurology, with the quality standard that distinguishes us.
