We work to conserve endangered species and autochthonous ecosystems, developing projects of high value for biodiversity and strengthening social commitment.
Our streams of work:
· We mitigate the threats of native flora and fauna with specific lines of work focused on illegal trafficking, petting, invasive alien species, and habitat destruction.
· We educate for conservation with themes of the environmental agenda, from the Temaikèn Biopark, the Osununú Nature Reserve and areas of influence of the Paraná
· We protect and connect environments, through the recovery of wildlife, the consolidation of protected natural areas and the strengthening, together with the local community, of friendly relations with nature.
· We carry out and promote research that generates knowledge for the best conservation of Natural Protected Areas, endangered species and human health.
Wilfires caused an environmental emergency in the area of the Iberá wetlands in Corrientes, Argentina, and the need to provide an immediate response to the affected fauna. Fundación Temaikèn responded sending a team of exterts to the area to carry out field assistance, to give immediate attention to the fauna affected by the fire and to support local technical personnel.
