As a not for profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided under U.S. tax law.

HelpArgentina maintains "variance power" over funds donated to us in support of the programs operated by our beneficiary organizations. Under the terms of our agreement with each beneficiary organization, HelpArgentina retains full discretion and control over the use of such funds to accomplish the charitable purposes of the approved programs of the beneficiary organization. This power includes the unilateral right to redirect funds to a different organization that can accomplish these charitable purposes of this program, if for some reason the beneficiary organization cannot.

While HelpArgentina takes steps to monitor the purposes for which our beneficiary organizations use donated funds, HelpArgentina makes no representation, warranty or guarantee concerning the use of funds granted by HelpArgentina to beneficiary organizations including that the beneficiary organizations will use the funds in the contemplated manner or that any charitable objective will be accomplished. HelpArgentina expressly disclaims any liability arising from the disbursement of funds to beneficiary organizations.

Privacy Policy

HelpArgentina respects the privacy of our online visitors and donors. For those visiting our website www.helpargentina.org we don´t collect any personably identifiable information, we do collect personal information at the specific points associated with donation process, though in all cases, we will never share or sell your personal information to anyone.

Creating a HelpArgentina Account

HelpArgentina will ask for information when you create an account on our website. When you register with HelpArgentina we only require limited information such as your name and email address, all other information, such as your mailing address or a personal picture, is not mandatory. This information is used for contact purposes only.

You can view and edit your account information at any time by logging in on the main HelpArgentina website (www.HelpArgentina.com) and clicking ¨My Account¨. When you create your account you may also choose to receive HelpArgentina’s newsletter of which you can unsubscribe from in any mailing or by contacting us directly at comunidad@helpargentina.org.

Online Donations

When you make your donation online you have several payment options. In all cases, any payment information that you submit, such as a credit card number or expiration date, is used by HelpArgentina's credit card processing service (Paypal) for transaction purposes. HelpArgentina does not handle or retain this information. We maintain total confidentiality in regards to the identity of our donors if a donor indicates that they would not like to make their support known to the recipient organization.

We do not share any information about your donation to any outside source except when required by law. We do execute annual financial reports for the United States Internal Revenue Service and annual audits are conducted by a third-party in order to maintain the highest level of organizational transparency.

Security

We strive to maintain the highest level of security and do not allow unauthorized access via our website to any part of our server containing personally-identifiable donor information.
