Student Scholarship Program

Fundación León is a non-profit organization that hosts evidence-based programs that support families in Tucumán, historically among Argentina's poorest regions. 

PFE (Future Graduates Program in Spanish) is a student scholarship program hosted by Fundación León that delivers five or six years of continued economic and socioemotional support to secondary/high school students facing economic challenges. PFE activities include one-on-one interviews with students and parents, group meetings and annual gatherings with sponsors. These gatherings are key to the students' success and encourage families to stay committed to PFE.

Launched in 1997 in Buenos Aires, PFE has been hosted in Tucumán since 2009 by Fundación León, a Cimientos partner and active member of the Cimientos Network.

León works with HelpArgentina, the Argentina chapter of the Portal for Investment in the Latin American Social Sector, registered in New York as a nonprofit under article 501(c.3) of the U.S. tax code (EIN 550790450), making donations made by US taxpayers tax deductible.
