Fundación Nutrir Salta
Fundación Nutrir Salta is an NGO, based in the Province of Salta, which addresses the problem of child malnutrition from a comprehensive perspective, so that all children can display their genetic potential and have equal opportunities. We have 4 centers for the Prevention of Child Malnutrition and Human Promotion, 2 in Salta Capital and 2 in the interior of the province located in Rivadavia Banda Norte and Rivadavia Banda Sur.
Children from 0 to 5 years old attend our centers with their mothers and pregnant women.
We work on three levels of intervention:
• Nutrition: by means of controls with Nutritionist and Pediatrician.
• Development: through psycho-affective and motor stimuli with psychopedagogues and stimulators of initial and maternal level.
• Family: incorporating the mother in the treatment to strengthen ties and ties with the child.Adequate nutrition and education are essential for the full growth and development of the child.
