Incorporation of Youth in the production of smoked pepper in the indigenous community of La Estrella
Incorporation of Youth in the production of smoked pepper in the indigenous community of La Estrella
The objective of this project is to teach indigenous youth in La Estrella the skills that will allow them to produce smoked pepper, thereby giving them the opportunity to be protagonists in their own social and economic development.
This project looks to promote the development of indigenous youth by focusing on areas where they already have agricultural training, which will provide them access to a sustainable activity over time.
The funds we provide are used to buy necessary agricultural tools, and to provide an economic incentive for youth to get trained in these production activities. We need U$S 1500 per year for 5 young men or 300 U$S per year for one young man.
