Fundación Escolares helps isolated rural schools to finance the implementation of projects developed by teachers, parents, and members of the community. These initatives seeks to benefit the processes of participation and compromise of the community.

Goals:

Contribuir al desarrollo integral de los alumnos de las escuelas rurales aisladas del país, y colaborar en la erradicación de la deserción escolar.

Objectives:

Promover una mejor formación de los alumnos y docentes
Contribuir a mejorar las condiciones en que se desarrollan las actividades educativas

Programs:

Los programas apoyan iniciativas de mejora edilicia e infraestructura; mejora de equipamiento y material pedagógico; creación y ampliación de bibliotecas; y desarrollo de huertas. Fundación Escolares también promueve la capacitación y actualización docente brindando encuentros de capacitación, y envía insumos como útiles escolares, calzado y ropa de abrigo.

¿Qué podemos hacer juntos por ellos?

Fundación Escolares works with more than 25 isolated rural schools in Argentina to contribute to the integral development of their students.

The reality that rural schools in Argentina face presents some common situations: deficient buildings and infrastructure, lack of teaching material and low levels of teacher training, all within a context of poverty, unemployment, and malnutrition.

To this end, Fundación Escolares helps isolated rural schools in the financing of projects targeted to give answers to the necessities of the school, and incentivizing collective work involving both parents and teachers in the search for solutions to their problems. Escolares emphasizes that schools prepare and present their own projects, as the only way to reach a level of sustainable development.

In 2006 we contributed to better educational conditions in 451 schools, benefitting 1,054 teachers and 34,416 students.
