HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.

Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.

: Gobernador Castro

Principle Objective: To encourage youths to take part in social action, with the objective of instilling the values of social action.

Description: In the town of Gobernador Castro, in the Province of Buenos Aires, the Home is hoping to develop social action for the third consecutive year. Gobernador Castro is a town of 3,000 inhabitants, with innumerable needs. In the past year, a collaboration of the organization's volunteers, the Ministry of Development, and the youth from the Home received an investment of $35,000 worth of materials, with which they built a playground complete with 12 games for children and more than 150 square meters of painting, as well as a computer lab, at the public school nª 19. For the year 2010, we hope to repeat and exceed this accomplishment witt the creation of a computer lab and a park in the Center for Special Education of the town.
