HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.
Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.
We are looking for individuals who support Argentine Social Organizations from outside the country.
Social Ambassadors are individuals that raise funds outside the country to support social organizations in Argentina, no matter if they are Argentine or not. Anyone may nominate a candidate for this award. Help us get to know your stories of those who have made the difference in Argentina!
HelpArgentina's award seeks to recognize and promote these stories so that more people get to know them, and their enthusiasm and commitment motivate many others.
Through the Award, HelpArgentina's objective is to:
Spreadthe word about stories of initiatives mobilized by Social Ambassadors
Promote philanthropy
Motivate Argentines living abroad to get involved in the Argentine Social Sector, leading to an increase in participation.
We are convinced that the fact of sharing these stories of continuous, personal commitment will have a contagious effect so that many others will engage with the Argentine social sector!
Nomination Process
Anyone can nominate candidates through the internet. Any person that is living abroad and is carrying out (or has carried out recently) fundraising initiatives for an Argentine social organization is eligible for this Award. Those who have already received the Award will not be taken into account.
You can nominate as many candidates as you wish by filling out the form that can be found on this page. Nominations will be received until the 31st of July before 5 PM.
A jury composed of members from the philanthropic field, the social and other sectors, is responsible for the selection of the awardees, which will be announced in a ceremony that will be held in September at the Palacio San Martín.
The Award was created in 2005 by HelpArgentina and is given every two years. In the other editions, more than 200 candidates were nominated and 16 Social Ambassadors were awarded the prize.
