Biblioteca Popular is constantly in search of productive, valid alternatives to better the quality of life of the community members of both rural and urban areas.
Listed are some of their current projects:
Literacy training to combate poverty.
Training oriented towards women over the age of 14Â (Tailoring and Fashion, Haircutting, Horticulture).
Demonstrate and produce non-traditional food sources that have a multiplying effect (strawberries, grapes, pheasants, etc.).
Recycling larger agricultural equipment for small agricultural producers; taking heavy equipment that is either no longer being used or being used at very low cost, dismantling it, and producing smaller instruments for the micro-rural sector. In this manner ensuring that the beneficiary can produce at least as much as is consumed in his or her household.
Production of white mulberry, breeding of silk worms, small production of yarn and silk artisan products.
