La estrella community (Eastern Salta)
This foundation has been working
for more than 10 years, helping isolated communities and has been working with
the indigenous community La Estrella
since 1999. Redes Solidarias is a bridge between organisms, foundations,
companies and people that want to help these communities.
Rosario de Lerma (Western Salta)
This is an opportunity to work in a rural community in
north-western Salta with a local
school. Volunteers would live nearby the school for a period of weeks assisting
the school in everything from educational activities to recreational
activities. This is an important inter-cultural exchange too.
Volunteers must be willing
to work and live in isolated rural communities for a period of time where
access to certain comforts is limited and minimal. Volunteers need to have an
inter-mediate to advanced level of Spanish and be prepared to participate in
any number of activities.
