School Gardens in Buenos Aires
This organization seeks to reconnect citizens to the environment and its natural resources.The organization promotes and raises awareness about environmental sustainability through educational farms, community action and workshops, and the construction of small gardens in local schools throughout the province of Buenos Aires.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers may work Monday-Friday with this organization. Volunteers accompany staff part of the time (1-3 days) to local school gardens and assist in the weekly workshops, building projects, and the maintenance of these gardens. Volunteers also work with the organization in Communications (volunteer newsletter, translations, building awareness, website), project coordination, and fundraising.
