In September, the 8th Night Solidarity Las Lomas Oral College was organized to benefit the scholarship fund for deaf children of low economic resourcesMore than 830 attendees, 140 companies advertised in the event, 135 companies made generous donations to us, 80 volunteers helped us, athletes and artists contributed their works and belongings to be auctioned. We add 49 new friends and 11 increased their collaboration monthly. Thanks to the commitment of all of you, more than 47 deaf children can receive their full or partial scholarship to learn to talk and to listen receiving personalized education and integral offered by the College Las Lomas Oral based on the philosophy auditory-oral.

Goals:

To make it possible that hearing-handicapped children handle themselves with confidence and dignity in everyday life, giving them a full education based on an oral-auditory philosophy.

Objectives:

We strive to enable the children to develop language and the hearing capacity that are required for entry into the common school and the subsequent adaptation.

Programs:

We work on five educational levels, adapted to the age and evolution of each student: Early stimulation, Toddlers, Kindergarten, Primary Education and Mainstreaming.
In addition to the traditional levels, we organize different activities and services that turn teaching and learning into a more dynamic and enjoyable process:

• Drama classes
• Art workshops
• Religion (optional)
• Virtual library

We have a team of devoted specialized teachers and speech-and-language therapists, who are constantly being trained in order to offer our students an integrated and personalized education.
