The Museum organizes guided tours, in every occasion the survivors provide testimonies on the Holocaust for 1000 students. There are also activities for teachers and the public in general: conferences, seminars, and cultural events. The Museum also works in the preservation of objects and historic documents.

Museum: There is a need to enlarge and update the museum respecting the contents and issues of interest for educators and the public in general. Auditorium: The construction is due to the growing demand for special courses, cultural events in general, and the meeting of Holocaust survivors who are part of the guided tours. Research and Study Center: Social and historic research to contribute to spread the Memory of the Holocaust among national culture. Creation of a new web page. Didactic Material delivered to teachers and schools who visit the Museum (Holocaust in 10 Posters) and CDRom called Fragments (with stories from survivors). Documentary on Woman and the Holocaust: the movie will be shown in March 2008 to celebrate the International Women's Day. It will be freely distributed among educational organizations.

Goals:

To keep alive the testimonial awareness on the existence of the Holocaust.

Objectives:

To raise awareness on the danger of racism and xenophobia, avoid the resurgence of ideologies and facts such as the ones that drove to the perpetration of the Holocaust.

Preservation, keeping and storage room to keep and protect the Collection
