Ruben Ángel Pensa is from Córdoba, but has lived in Neuchatel, Switzerland for the last six years. He is 50 years old and works as the caretaker of the Teatro d'l Passage in Neuchatel. He actively raises money for a children's soup kitchen in Santa Fe, Argentina, putting on artistic events and other events such as fairs, native Argentinean meals, etc. Furthermore, he supports Latin American artists through the organization of presentations, putting them in contact with institutions, creating art fairs, etc.

These undertakings were all carried out since his arrival to Switzerland. The help for the children of Córdoba has been uninterrupted and the assistance of Latin American artists varies based on what necessities present themselves.

After the first few donations, he created Córdoba Nexo Enfants-Suiza. The contributions to artists, though not to specific institutions themselves, help to develop Latin American culture abroad. Spreading Argentine culture is a contribution to the country as well. He has supported many artists including Analia Rego (a guitar player), Lala (a singer), Argentine tango, etc. The activities such as concerts, artistic presentations, 'criollo' festivals, and barbeques are publicized with pamphlets and through word of mouth.
