  • One Infant study was able to reduce hospital stays of premature children. The project lasted two years and included a follow-up of 200 premature babies (less than 1.5 kilos upon birth), with chronic pulmonary disease and congenital heart disease, for the purpose of comparing the effects of different respiratory viruses.
  • Infant is working to establish a dengue research center in northwestern Argentina. A network of doctors will be trained on-site for the purpose of transferring the results of our basic research studies to clinical research, thus contributing to the development of vaccines and treatments that can protect the population in Argentina and throughout the world.
  • Development Program for Pediatrician Researchers. Together with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation and the Johns Hopkins University, Infant will train 36 Argentine pediatricians to detect and interpret scientific findings that are critical for children's health in Argentina and translate such findings into concrete medical actions with a wide range of impact.
  • Translational Health Science Internship in Argentina. The Infant Foundation is currently carrying out a training program for students from distinguished North American universities regarding the main respiratory viruses during infancy and the immune system's defense mechanisms.
