 HelpArgentina's Community Without Borders is composed of more than 12,000 people who, no matter where they live, lend support to the Argentine social sector. Some choose to donate money directly, others volunteer, and some mobilize their friends by organizing benefit events for social causes in Argentina.

HelpArgentina invites you to transform your desire to help into concrete actions.

Benefit Dinners

Between 2005 and 2007, more than 6000 people participated in 191 HelpArgentina Night editions in 44 different cities from 14 countries around the world. In total, we've raised funds for 40 member organizations of HelpArgentina. This year we want to raise the bar and we need your help to do it!

The events are conducted primarily in the homes of hosts like you and me, all for the benefit of a cause in Argentina chosen by those who organized the experience! Can you imagine the satisfaction of belonging to a diverse group of individuals who commit simultaneously to a common cause throughout the world?

Online Auction through eBay

HelpArgentina is registered with MissionFish, the non-proft arm of eBay. All of HelpArgentina's member organizations can be beneficiaries of an auction held by the organization or by any person who wants to hold an online benefit auction. HelpArgentina has organized three online auctions through eBay and, in partnership with MissionFish, has developed a guide to help people organize benefit auctions online.

Individual Donors from American Companies

As a Social Ambassador, one of the main objectives is spreading the word about good causes in Argentina. HelpArgentina is registered with United Way and through them can transfer funds to any of its member organizations. United Way specializes in working as an intermediary between employees of a company and potential beneficiaries of their financial support. HelpArgentina has recieved funds from different companies and their employees in this manner.

If your organization has identified a possible donor that works in a multinational company, he or she will most likely already know if their company has an agreement with United Way. If it is, they can ask that HelpArgentina be included among their designated organizations. In many cases, being able to donate through United Way is a good strategy to mobilize fellow workers in a fundraising campaign.

  At HelpArgentina, we believe that utilizing our diverse awareness and fundraising initiatives makes supporting or donating to a member organization easy and fun. We encourage every one, organizations and individuals, to think creatively about how they can help, always keeping in mind the contacts in their local communities and the message they want to send with their event.
