HelpArgentina's mission is to strengthen Argentine NGOs, and to reach this end we work in the development and promotion of a consenus for criteria of accountability.
In these terms, we developed "Rendir Cuentas para Darse Cuenta", a Self-evaluation Tool for Civil Society Organizations whose objective is the promotion of the Principles of Accountability.
This tool allows each organization to self- evaluate its practices concerning both internal and external affairs.
It was elaborated with the cooperation of AVINA, Ashoka, and Foundation Compromiso and following the completion of a survey and field work with different NGOs.
This tool is available in a printed, digital and on line version. The on-line version enables each organization to compare themselves with the rest of institutions that evaluated themselves, by accumulating and processing all the information, and guaranteeing absolute privacy.

Further, HA has organized workshops for people who work in NGOs to promote the application of this tool and to promote best practices.
