Emilio Ocampo, Chairman
Emilio is an independent financial consultant. He has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets in London and New York, most recently as Managing Director of Salomon Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Until June 2005 he served as Senior Advisor to the London office of Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners, a $2.7 billion global private equity fund affiliated with Citigroup.
Emilio has an MBA degree from the University of Chicago (1990) and a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (1985). He is a Professor of Investment Banking in the M.Sc. in Finance program at Universidad del CEMA, Buenos Aires.
Agustina Blanco, director
Agustina is an educational consultant with a degree in business administration from UCA, an MA in education from Manhattanville College, and an MS in International Relations from NYU. Her professional experience includes; Education Consultant with the Sophia Group Foundation, High School Teacher (Social Studies) in the US, Director of Institutional Reform at Nuestra Señora de la Paz School in Las Lomitas, Formosa, Program Coordinator for the school program of Save the Children in Greenwich, CT, and independent consultant for projects focused on educational reform and academic improvement to promote social development. Agustina is also a board member of the Bicentennial Schools Program, IIPE/UNESCO (2009 and she co-authored the book La Escuela Protagonista (The Leading School). Augustina's extensive work in promoting improved education in Argentina was recognized with a HelpArgentina Social Ambassador Award in 2007.
Jerónimo Bosch, director
Jerónimo Bosch is a partner of Pegasus, a principal investment firm based in Buenos Aires. He has 15 years of experience in the financial sector in Latin America and the US, with a focus on corporate finance and private equity, venture capital and real estate investing.
Before returning to Argentina and joining Pegasus in 2003, he lived for eight years in New York (USA), São Paulo (Brazil) and San Francisco (USA), working throughout this period at Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers.
He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires.
Diego Ferrari, director
Diego is a lawyer who contributes his expertise and knowledge in law to HelpArgentina and is dedicated toward working for a more just country.

Sofía Gancedo, director
Sofia iis a graduate of the Universidad de San Andrés with a masters in Economics from ESDEADE. She studied data bases at New York University (NY, New York) and questionnaire design in San Diego, USA. Sofia has worked in retail (Grimoldi Brasil), venture capital (Shaw Capital) and in the NGO sector (CIPPEC). In 2004 she founded Alfalogica, a consulting firm dedicated to market research in Argentina, Latin America, and the United States. The firm has conducted market research projects for the government of Peru (Promperu), Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), Banco Galicia, Falabella, Correo Argentina, Telefónica de Argentina, APSA, Bodegas de Argentina, Grimoldi, Nordelta and Bumeran.com, among others. Sofia also belongs to the Board of the Friends of MALBA/Fundación Costantini (Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires).
Andreas Keller Sarmiento, director
Director of Emgasud and Celulosa Argentina. Director of arteBA and AAMNBA (Friends of the Fine Arts Museum). Between 1994 and 2007 he was Managing Director for Credit Suisse's investment banking activities in the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay) in Credit Suisse.
Lloyd Nimetz, co-founder. Emeritus Chairman
Lloyd sees his dedication to HelpArgentina as a challenge and a personal necessity to get involved in the social sector, to look for ways to innovate, and to minimize suffering while increasing the quality of life for the Argentine community.

Bob Hannan
Bob Hannan has been involved with HelpArgentina since 2005 when he started working with the organization as a volunteer consult and later as senior advisor to the Board of Directors. Bob has extensive private sector experience in strategy, finance and new product development and has worked with a range of companies including Charles Schwab, Merrill Lynch, Exxon, and DuPont.
Relationship with Social Organizations
Federico Centeno Lappas - organizaciones@helpargentina.org
Federico has a degree in Political Sciences and is finishing his Masters in Social Policies at the University of San Andrés. He has worked in different social organizations as well as in the area of social responsibility and communications in the private sector.
"Social Organizations are one of the most important actors that respond to the different problems in our communities. It´s a huge satisfaction and a great responsability to work to strengthen the role of our social organizations in Argentina.".

Mariana has a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. She has experience in both the private and social sectors, and was drawn to HelpArgentina to continue working for a better Argentina.

Cecilia has a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. She is responsible for institutional development, and for the relationship with donors and social ambassadors at HelpArgentina.

Emily Palmer - insight@helpargentina.org
Emily Palmer lleva has worked for various years in the Argentine social sector. Born and raised in London, England, in her previous life she was a management consultant in the private sector. Emily has an MA (Hons) in Literature from the University of Cambridge, and a post-graduate specialisation in Management of Non Profit Organisations from San Andres University, Buenos Aires.
“Having been a volunteer myself for various years, in Argentina and the UK, it´s great to have a role where I can enable volunteers to help really great social projects be more effective, whilst having a life-changing experience themselves.”

Elisa graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She processes the donations from our donors and social ambassadors to our member organizations. Elisa handles all administration, accounting, legal, and human resource responsibilities.
