HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.

Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.

Objective:

  • Make available to the young beneficiaries the tools they need to minimize the cost and time of a job hunt, by rendering the process more efficient.

Description:

Workshops are divided in two clearly defined stages.

  • The first stage deals with job hunt planning, for participants to grasp the importance of designing a strategy, knowing the various paths that lead to market entry, writing a resume, a letter of introduction, and training for successful job interviews.
  • The second stage, called the Employment Club, is a specially designed space, where participants have access to a selection of papers with labor market information, various lists of HR consultants, corporations affiliated to Chambers of Commerce or Professional Associations, and Job Boards or Employment Services to submit their resumes.

Budget: U$S450.- per workshop for 30 assistants
