Dr. Jose Mordoh – disciple of the Nobel Prize winners François Jacob (France) and Luis F.Leloir (Argentina) – directs a research team that is developing a vaccine against cancer. The vaccines are therapeutic, not preventive, because they act only on cancer patients. They’ve been doing clinical tests on patients for more than 10 years.
The one first important news, is that the Inter-American Development Bank (I.A.D.B.) granted a subsidy to our Project of anti-tumour vaccine, of up to US$ 1.000.000 for next the three years. The subsidy demands a counterpart contribution, that the SALES Foundation will pay with the donations that receives from thousands of citizens: thus, more donations will produce more money from the I.A.D.B., in such a way that by each donated dollar the I.A.D.B. grants us three
The other good news is, that in recent days the SALES Foundation incorporated its donor number 50.000: the name is Mrs Patricia Pereyra, that lives in Apóstoles, province of Misiones, Argentina. She decided to make a monthly donation of $ 10 “to do one's bit to the vaccine against cancer”.
The well-known argentinian newspaper "La Nación" has published an article about the Sales Foundation and the support of its 50.000 donors. To read the hole article, press here. (spanish version)
