HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.
Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.
With the vision of a more just and equal society, we propose as our mission the creation of a model of development for the most vulnerable social sectors. For this goal we implement a series of programs, listed in the institucional information.
All of these programs conform a COMPLETE PROGRAMAGAINST VULNERABILITY. A model which promotes the improvement of the quality of life of the most vulnerable social sectors.
Create a model of development for the "most vulnerable sectors"
Implementing the best practices for this aim, and articulating with other social actors, both nationally and worldwide to share experiences which improve the social integration of children in situations of social risk, putting them on the path to a healthy life, comprising the values of responsibility and social justice, and based in personal effort, overcoming, and work.
Integration Project “An Alternative Life”.
Objective: Equality of opportunities for kids, starting at age three, Goal: Strengthening of the family and promotion of infants' rights.
Sports Project “InterCampus Argentina” and “Sports make us equal"
Objective: Promote sports as a tool of inclusion; Goal: development of athletic abilities, promotion of educational inclusion, both formal and informal.
Project of productive training “Recovering dignity”.
Objective: Training and generation of mini-enterprises; Goal: Creation of employment, Incubation of mini-businesses.
Construction project “Building our Home”.
Objective: self-construction with family participation; Goal: improvement of the habitability of living spaces.
Cultural Projects “Musically Integrated”, “The Youth Buskers of PUPI: Avoiding Sadness” and “Teen Theater”:
Objective: Putting kids and teens back into actividies which involve them; Goal: Integration, using art and music as tools.
Prevention Program “Promoting the equality of opportunities despite AIDS” and “Playing on a team, we can all win against AIDS”.
Objective: Training of speakers and dissemination of preventative strategies; Goal: Prevention campaigns.
Project “Community Books”.
Objective: Increasing the reading ability of those in vulnerable social sectors; Goal: Editing and Donation of Books, workshops of reading promotion and literary conferences.
Project “Motherly Love”.
Objective: Promoting intervention strategies for the development of the first months of infancy; Goal: Strengthening the abilities of those raising families, and preventing maturity deficits in infantsfrom birth to 3 years of age.
