HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.
Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.
Proyecto Educar 2050is a Civil Association aimed to improve the education in Argentina. The reason of this objective is its origin. Proyecto EducAR 2050 arises to struggle against poverty with good education. It began in the sad reality of misery in the Impenetrable Chaqueño, where the inhuman life conditions, the lack of medical protection and specially the absolute lack of opportunities and means for a good education led us to act. The education quality was the chosen way to become the bridge to better life conditions.
The good results obtained in this Practical experience in Chaco led us to the Theory. And we faced a worrying and painful reality: millions of children under the line of poverty and a deficient education quality, where almost 60% of adolescents do not understand what they read and where Argentina is in position number 53 among 57 involved countries in this matter (Results of Education Quality Exams PISA 2006). The steps we decided to take were not to try a titanic job of adding more vulnerable institutions of the country, but to make society aware of this enormous national problem and influence in public policies in this matter. The National Education Act 26,206 is very clear but is not fulfilled.
We need responsible and efficient authorities and committed citizens to fulfill this legal rule:
Our View: Place Argentina, with joined efforts and a long term plan, among the countries with the best education quality in the world. Education Quality tests internationally acknowledged will be an excellent tool to evaluate the results. We want to place Argentina, before 2050, among the first five countries with better grades in the above mentioned examinations.
Construction of a lodge for adolescents attending the rural secondary school at EGB 781 in Monte Quemado Chico – Province of Chaco. Many of them travel many kilometers every day and it would be necessary to build a house to shelter them from Monday to Friday.
• Through Practice: Direct experience of integral support to certain Schools in the country. • Through Theory: Joining efforts and means, contributing with the National, Provincial and Municipal State, promoting debates, analysis meetings, promoting the society's awareness and spreading information.
Short term: - Annually organize the Education Quality Forum in Argentina. - Introduce the "education quality" issue in mass media. - Support certain schools in the country to improve their education quality. - Elaborate, together with other institutions and companies, an integral plan for the improvement of education quality in Argentina. Long Term: - Place Argentina, with joined efforts and a long term plan, among the countries with the best education quality in the world.
EDUCATION QUALITY FORUM The purpose is to organize spaces for debate on the reality of education in our country and at the same time to make the society aware of the urgency of working for a Quality Education, specially using mass media.
“CONTINUAR” PROGRAM It is a scholarship program for poor former students of Primary School. The scholarship promotes their “continuation” “in the high school education.
“EMPEZAR” PROGRAM It is a program that promotes the creation of public Kindergartens in very poor schools. We collaborate with materials, school supplies and physical space. INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM The purpose is to assess the building and equipment needs of very poor schools and at the same time become the link or bridge between donors. We encourage the improvement or extension of rural schools and the creation of new necessary spaces: kindergartens, high schools or lodges.

II Education Quality Forum:
Last June 25, the II Education Quality Forum was held at the central Auditorium of the Rural in Palermo – Federal Capital City, with more than 500 attendants. National and provincial Ministers, Argentine and foreign education specialists, intellectuals, academicians, politicians and representatives of different national sectors put forward their ideas. Rural Secondary School in the Impenetrable Chaqueño:
Due to negotiations carried out by the Educar 2050 Project before provincial authorities, the first year of a new rural secondary school started last March, given during the second shift in the facilities of the Primary School 781 in Monte Quemado Chico – Chaco. More than 30 adolescents are attending school coming from different areas, some of them traveling a long distance to arrive.
