Pro-Alvear acts as the godfather of the Argentinean Pampas region, by reconstructing its social, economic, cultural and educational foundations, and by protecting hundreds of underprivileged children.

Pro-Alvear in the last twelve months, and thanks to the support many “padrinos” of the charity, has launched a new IT Community Centre in a village called Bernardo Larroude, supported a Sports Academy where every day we keep more than 100 kids busy and out of trouble, launched a Sciences Laboratory for 40 kids, and also launched a large scale Organic Vegetable Garden in a town called Intendente Alvear where 120 kids learn and work for their own meals. Pro-Alvear has also launched a major Forest Regeneration project in the Argentinean Pampas. All of these projects aim to help combat poverty and protect hundreds of children in a sustainable way in this beautiful and faraway part of the world.

And our plans into the near future are very ambitious!! Pro-Alvear will replicate its proved social initiatives into five other villages and rural towns of the Pampas in the next 12 months…
