"I went with the motivation to have "hands-on" experience with working in an underprivileged area and hoping that I could offer some sort of meaningful aid. Not only were these purposes realized in my work at the center, but I truly believe I had an opportunity to be a part of a community in which I was needed and appreciated", says Jenny, who volunteered for four months in a community center located in Buenos Aires during 2007.
