Funraising Events:

SCH functions solely on the basis of generous contributions by individuals and a few corporations. Through our "Sumando huellas" (leave your footprint) campaign  we invite our donors to walk by our side on this path of hope we are building day by day. We receive donations by credit card, debit card, bank deposit and monthly contributions. Our Fundraising team of volunteers organizes yearly fundraising events that help us financially sustain SCH. Our main fundraising event is the Hospice Marathon, run every year with the motto "By your side until the end". The whole community gets together for this event, to run, walk and show their support for our cause. We also have other ways in which our donors can contribute monthly by becoming part of our SCH community.

Teaching others Hospice Care:

We strive to create a specific training and a research center in Hospice care in Argentina. We consider it essential to train more volunteers and professionals in this philosophy of care. SCH has already developed training courses in Hospice care in our country. Currenly different members of our teams travel to other parts of the country to meet the continuous demand for training in this type of care SCH recieves. Several new hospices that are in their very early stages are being trained and advised by SCH and our hospice has become a model in the field.

Our aim, therefore, is to obtain enough funding to be able to travel and train more teams around the country and to eventualy become a national training center

Currently we have one training program that is offerd in conjunction with UCA university. We hope that with your help, we will be able to hold more programs like these.
