Equity Company Foundation is a nonprofit organization, who implements social and educational programs in partnership with community leaders and teachers across the country, to reduce the digital divide using the computer and Internet tools.
Our History
We started our activities in 2001. Working with community leaders and teachers, we created 14 digital centers in 7 provinces of the country that provide digital literacy and Internet access to 12,000 low-income people,
We equipped 690 schools and 245 social organizations of our country in 5626 refurbished computers. We gives internet access to 240,000 students, 10,800 teachers and administrators and 20,000 direct beneficiaries of community organizations.

- 280 students trained PC technician in the School Equity - 31 students trained at the School Computer Network Equity - Adults over 1406 trained in computer science at the School Equity - 5626 refurbished computers between 2005 / 2009 donated to:

Mobile Digital Classroom for Nuestra Señora de Fátima School
Promoting social equity and human and economic development through information technologies and communication technologies (ICTs).
Promote equal access to education, information, knowledge and new technologies.
Provide increased training opportunities and job placement to low-income people.
Build a network of people to exchange knowledge and best practices for social development through the use of ICTs.
Create a culture of reuse and recycling technology for education and environmental protection.
Escuela Equidad (Equity School): We train people (youth, adults and older) to learn the trades of PC repair, monitor and computer networks to improve their employability skills. Reciclar (Recycling): The Program aims to bring RECYCLE and provide access to refurbished computers and software to schools and civil society organizations who understand technology as a tool for social integration to help create equal opportunities, through learning to use basic computer.

Argentina Award to the intelligence applied to the IT industry
