Goats´ Milk Project in Santiago del Estero

FUNDAPAZ works with rural families with few resources in the high-risk zone of the River Dulce, located in the department of Robles, in the center of the province of Santiago del Estero to develop a goat milk program.

The program´s goal is to make use of an abundant resource, the goat, in order to improve local productivity and generate job opportunities that will diversify the area´s economy, raise family income, and improve the families´ quality of life

This action has permitted the creation of a goat´s milk basin, the only one in the country, and the generation of 70 new job openings to incorporate families that bring their milk to a cheese factory which belongs to FUNDAPAZ
