Red Argentina de Bancos de Alimentos is a national organization that unites the 14 food banks of Argentina. Red works to improve children´s quality of life through nutrition assistance and capacity building.

To strengthen the food banks’ actions and to develop strategic alliances that contribute to reducing hunger and malnutrition in Argentina and promoting human dignity.

La Red Argentina de Bancos de Alimentos is a national organization that unites 14 Argentinean Food Banks. In 2008 Red distributed 4.5 millions of food among 1,000 organizations that provide assistance to 150.000 people. The majority of Red beneficiaries are children that live in situations of extreme poverty. In addition, Red complements its food programs with capacity building opportunities in order to achieve a higher level of human development.
