LOS ROBLES
Los Robles works with an agricultural engineer and a technician on the project “Plant fruit trees at schools”. Students plant fruit trees at school and learn all the necessary steps to achieve production: from preparing the soil, planting, caring for the trees (watering, pruning, organically controlling insects and fungus, organic fertilization), to harvesting. This way, the children learn to care for the ground, the water, and the recycling of nutrients.

FUNDACIÓN LUCIÉRNAGA
Did you know that the cypress tree grows an average of 5 cm a year and many of them have taken thousands of years to reach their current state of maturity? And did you know that because of the quality of their wood, one tree trunk can be worth up to $75,000USD?
Siempre vida (Always Life) is the name of the conservation of native forests program run by Fundación Luciérnaga. With your help, they predict being able to acquire 20,000 hectares of natural areas in real danger of ecological deterioration, to convert them into protected parks. This is a way of investing in a better future for all.
