Description: Southern Río Negro is not connected to the electricity grid, and thus residents cannot count on electric power for their homes or for productive activities. Understanding this situation and the need to develop an appropriate solution, we propose the use of solar energy for consumptive and productive use, captured through the installation of solar panels, lighting fixtures, and the utilization of electrical wires for production. The electrical wire is a low-cost option that allows the creation of divisions in pastoral areas, which allows for their better control and for the application of livestock handling technology. Their use has a favorable impact in regards to their environment as it allows for the rotating use of pastures in addition to the use of alternative energy, which does not waste or contaminate the environment.
