Ecoclubes advances in the implementation of the Plan of Social Mobilization for the prevention of the Dengue. More than 30 groups of the whole country are developing sensitization campaigns in their communities from October.
This initiative is accompanied by the Health Nation Department , UNICEF, OPS/OMS, Red Cross and other local and provincial adherents. It is an interinstitutional and national crusade to avoid the proliferation of the Aedes aegypti, transmitter of the Dengue fever, promoting fundamentally domiciliary measures of hygiene and the “descacharrado”.
The Ecoclubes accompany the tasks of neighbourhood cleanliness with, prints, chat in public spaces, street events, plays of puppets, and others activities. The most important thing is the mobilization that the Ecoclubes generate in their communities with diverse creative actions to generate conscience, because the Dengue fever is a disease that one must prevent avoiding the vector.
