HelpArgentina is a nonprofit that allows international donors to identify and support high impact nonprofits in Argentina.
Our goal is to strengthen the nonprofits working to create social change in Argentina, increase confidence in the nonprofit sector and promote the culture of giving among Argentines.
Asociación Conciencia is a non-partisan civil association aimed to educate and inform citizens about the importance of participation in democracy, fostering education in young people values, and also developing the net working.
Main Objective: To promete the achievement of a puclic policy project that deals with community issues and contributes to local development
To raise people awareness about their condition as citizens providing democratic and republican ideas for them to act as citizens not only because it is a right, but also as a responsibility. To foster actions aimed to reach the welfare and the general social and economic development.

In September CONCIENCIA has been awarded the ‘Diploma to the Merit 2008’ from the Konex awards in the category ‘Local Development Entities’. This distinction encourages the association to work harder on its main education tasks of focusing on a democratic society. Throughout October and November the Association is fully dedicated to complete the main programs of CONCIENCIA. During October 31st, November 1st and 2nd the Association will be performing the National Meeting of the Program ‘Uniendo Metas, Jovenes para el futuro’ , it is a practice of the United Nations Model where over 1000 teenagers from every city in Argentina discuss about the main problems that are affecting the world. On November 19th, the program ‘Aprender’ will join all the graduated beneficiaries, the volunteers who helped them during 3 years, the parents and the community members to perform the end-year meeting. On November 21st the program ‘Fortaleciendo los Valores de la Democracia’ will take over the National Meeting where teachers and students from 9 argentinian schools will be present to launch new projects about public politics designed by themselves in order to contribute to make an improvement in the community.
