Multipurpose Senior Center

Goals:

Give integral assistance to elderly man vulnerables with or without handicap, thant because of ther personal, familiar, economic, social and/or sanitaries characteristics, requires of an coexistance and participation space that favour the self-care, the personal and grupal growth, the cooperation and solidarity.

To favor decent life conditions between the older persons and its families, contributing to the countnuity of their ways of life and the achieve of a better grade of autonomy.

Description:

The center provides social, health-related, and family services. The center operates during the day and meets basic personal, therapeutic and socio-cultural needs of vulnerable elderly adults, or those suffering from a disability that results in different degrees of dependence. It seeks to stimulate elderly adults, avoid early institutionalization, improve their autonomy, and assist families in looking after their elders. We work to optimize our grandparents’ quality of life and extend their time in their own homes.
Thanks to the activities offered, as well as to the professional group and individual supervision, every grandparent who attends the Center finds a place of their own, a space to share time with peers, and to spend the Jewish festivities with others.
